This week we presented our speeches in front of our Homebase  I came 4th and I think I did pretty good when you are reading my speech I will talk to you about weird and funny Guinness World Records and gross Guinness World Records so I hope you like my speech.

Hello bloggers and welcome back to my blog for the first week of term 4 in Mr Sutherland's literacy group we had two must do's to do. One of them was to make a neme (a neme is a thing that Pharaohs wear around the heads in it symbolizes royalty and power) and read a book on epic then create 10 Rules that I would make if I where a Pharaoh.

I chose why we should wear mufti clothes to school. Unfortunately I didn't write that much but I think my paragraphs are pretty good. First, we got a couple of options to choose from for the templates for the plans. then we started to write our plan and finally, we had to put it on our blog.

Hello bloggers and welcome to my blog this week in Mr. Sutherland's literacy group we had to use Dadweavers and you will find out what Dadweavers stands for in the link at the top of my slide (sorry the link doesn't work). First, we planned our story then we had to Draft/write our story about the space station, next we fixed up all of the mistakes and made some parts of the story better. Finally, we had to publish our story like putting a background in and changing the font and the colours of the text. Do you want to go to space? When I did this I felt fine.

kia ora bloggers and welcome back to my blog this week we had to make a documentary on a famous person in Mr. Sutherland's literacy group. First, we chose a famous person and I chose Jacinda Ardern then we had to choose the topics and put them in the orders that we wanted them in. Next, we put the topics into paragraphs and finally we put it into a video on Adobe spark and post them on our blogs I haven't quite finished mine yet. If you had to choose a famous person who would you choose?

For the art, we had to get a small piece of paper and draw two shapes and then cut them out next we draw it a couple times on the piece of paper like a puzzle and finally we had to colour it in.

Big Elephants

Kia ora bloggers and welcome to my blog over the past three days we had to make a documentary out of the four choices we had and they were Snakes, Dolphins, Turtles, and Elephants and I chose Elephants. First, we had to name each paragraph next we had to make a video on spark adobe and finally we had to put our voices in the video of us reading the documentary when I was doing this I felt happy.

Hello, bloggers welcome to my blog this week I had to do reading and writing on lions. For reading, I had to follow three simple steps the first one was to read an article about lions, the second one was to answer the questions from the article and the last one was to find the definitions of the words. For writing, we got to choose out of 4 options the first one was write a story the second one was write an information report on lions the third one was write a rhyming poem about lions (that's the one I did) and the last one was write a detailed description about lions.

The gross gooey earwax

Hello during this Lockdown we all have to do homeschooling and it is really hard because we can't see our teachers and our friends. On Wednesday I had 3 tasks to do in reading the first one was to read the article about earwax the next one was to answer all the questions about earwax and the last one was come up with 5 uses of old ear wax, the answers that I came up with were funny. When I did this I was a little bit angry because I didn't know what to do but in the end it was fun. 

The hardy hard words

Hello, this week I had to read a book called Peru and find four words that I didn't know or I was unsure about. First I had to put the definition of the word that I was doing into my own words. Next, I had to find some different words that meant the same. Then I had to put the word in a sentence and finally, I had to draw the meaning of the word.

The fun adverbs and adjectives

Hello, this week we had to make a slide on adverbs and adjectives. On the slide, we had to highlight the adverbs in red and the adjectives in Orange after that we had to make our own sentence with one adverb in it and another with one adjective. Finally, we had to make a sentence with an adjective and an adverb in it then we got to decorate all the slides.
